All I've Got to Do...

now is find a real cool subject to write about.

And while I find some enlightenment, I've been doing some small tweaks to my site.

You may notice I added a Poll; eventually I will use that to see what people thinks about the subjects I deal with here; but for now, it is on the "how would you rate my site" default question. BTW, some SOB at IBM ranked my site as terrible, I only now it was a guy from IBM for my IP traking service told me so. I suppose it is one of my former collegues (current slaves) at IBM GDL site but I will not rest until I discover the true identity of the perpetrator of such doltish buffoonery. No I won't

I also added a hit counter, mostly because the site stats service (bravenet) required me to either use a hit counter or a guest book along with it. I am not complety happy with the way it looks so it is on probation.

Ohh I almost forgot, beginning with this post I will start every rant with the title of one of The Beatles songs. I have always been a huge fan of them and it is kind of a personal challenge, let's see if I can keep up with it.

Talk to you later, enlightenment has not yet arrived.

Kill Bill Vol. 2 -- F@#¢$ Great!!

No Spoilers....

It happens so that I am member of a select group of mexican film fans who from time to time receive invitations to movie premieres and elite events.

Nahhh! I wish, I was saying this because I got a free double ticket to see Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol.2 premiere but not before making around 12 cell phone calls to this mexican radio station.

Yes, Kill Bill Vol.2 has just been released in Mexico where american blockbusters are released normally a month later (sometimes it takes as much as 6 months). Don't ask me why, it is just so on developing countries I guess.

First, I have to say that the dialogues are superb (I like that word and I rarely have the chance to use it) specially this Bill's disertation about Superman, or the little chat that California Mountain snake and ***** (the bride) have just right before ***** takes ...well I said no spoilers and I will stick to that. Just suffice it to say that the dialogues are very well chosen and fit perfectly well in all sequences.

Next; the music, Robert Rodriguez was involved in this movie's music matters. As a result of that lots of latin rythms and lyrics can be heard throughout the movie. This next to the dialogues and action sequences close the circle.

I cannot miss to mention the tribute (or mocking) Tarantino makes to Chinese and Japanese Kung fu movies. Here the camera pannings and dialogues switch to a complete "oriental mode" sort of speak. extreme close-ups, funny noises with every actor move, ridiculous poses, and of course, the apparently sadistic Sensei which of course turns out to be utterly wise. Pai Mei rocks!!

I will finish saying that this movie was one of the best ones I've ever seen and not only because the film is tremendously cool, but also because the tickets and food were free....uhuuu!!

You really ought to go and see this one.

Buh-LOGGING here I come ...

I read the news today oh boy!!... over at my friend's site about this Fox new's segment on web logging or "blogging" and how it is becoming more and more popular each day. Basically this segment shows how people is using the internet as its personal logging center and is literally writing about whatever comes to their minds first. It was then when it hit me: "People is polluting the internet with non-sense ramblings dude...hell you can do it too!!!"

I had been thinking about it for a while now; and although I've never been the "ooh dear diary today was the best/worst day of my life blah blah blah" kind of guy, I think it may come handy specially in a few months (details later).

Ok, Ok I do not intend this to be a personal dairy (no way you'll see me into that, no sir) but rather a place to pour down my comments about newly acquainted people and/or places, movies/books/gadgets reviews, etc.

With that said, buh-logging HERE I COME!! ....
